Things to do in Pembrokeshire
Pembrokeshire Beaches come to mind when you think of the County of Pembrokeshire.
We have a wealth of stunning sandy beaches that have won blue flag awards and Beggars Reach Hotel is not far from many of them. The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is close by for walkers of all abilities and is a great way of appreciating the stunning Pembrokeshire coastline.
There are many vehicle free cycle paths and some are close to the hotel. Notably, the disused railway line starting at Neyland Marina and running along the Cleddau Estuary is very good and it is likely that you will see much of the Pembrokeshire Wildlife including Otters and Herons
Milford Haven golf club is a short distance away and visitors are very welcome. There is a pretty golf course in a neighbouring village of Rosemarket called Dawn til Dusk and a driving range at Freystrop
Diving, Coasteering, Kayaking and Surfing
All close by and we have may leaflets at the hotel on just about anything Pembrokeshire has to offer
Skomer Island Pembrokeshire
From Martins Haven you can get a boat and explore the wonders of Skomer island with its wealth of nature. Notably, the reason for many visitors to Pembrokeshire is to see the Puffins and Shearwaters.
Beggars Reach Hotel is not far from Oakwood Theme Park, Folly Farm or Heatherton
Castles and a Catherderal
There are numerous castles in Pembrokeshire. Pembroke Castle, Carew Castle, Manorbier Castle are some of the more accessible and interesting. A visit to St Davids - the smallest city in the UK should also be a must where you will see St Davids Cathedral
